2024 SPRING MEETING AND AGM
This year’s Spring Meeting and AGM will take place at Enmore Park Golf Club on Thursday 11th April 2024. The Club has very kindly agreed to us having a two-tee start so that we can hold our AGM afterwards without making any early starters wait for too long!
Tee times will be from 1030 with capacity for 64 players (8 tee times on each tee) with the last tee times at 1140. We are planning to hold the AGM at around 5pm after players have had dinner, which will be served on a rolling basis. You are welcome to attend the AGM only.
ACTION
To book a slot for golf, please send me an email to the usual address – secretary@somersetgolfcaptains.co.uk – stating your preference for tee times and whether you wish to enter with another Captain.
Captains can, of course, enter individually (in which case I will allocate partners) or as a pair. Please note that the Committee has asked me to remind all Captains that these internal meetings should enable you all to mix and meet other Captains. Previous winners are specifically asked not to play with the same partner again and I have been told to ensure this is applied.
COSTS
The price for the day is £45 to include bacon rolls and coffee before golf, a two-course meal and prizes for the golf. Please DO NOT PAY yet as we are concentrating our financial management efforts on the Annual Dinner and our Treasurer is away! I will email you with your tee slot and ask for payment nearer the time.
Please do your very best to stay for the AGM as we have some important business to conduct on which the Executive Committee wants our Captains to have their say!
